Just west of the cities of Bellflower, and comerse at the cusp of the San Gabriel Valley and Central Los Angeles sits one of the mos vibran Hispanic enclaves in the county, a region that is net nearly as well know as East Los angeles but with at least in terms of its restaurants, is one of the best places to eat mexican food. North of the border.
In the area along Atlantic Boulevard to the southg and west of Santa Ana freeway a zone that travels through Commerce into Bell, Maywood, Cudahy, South Gate and Lynwood. To Anglo Los Angeles it’s a little known as the Korean Sushi Bars of Rowland Heights but to Hispanics Los Angeles it’s a great place to eat and to eat the real thing the most fabled of the restaurants along Atlantic Boulevard is the Cenaduria La Casita Mexicana which actually sits a few blocks west of Gage Ave. It’s run by Jaime Martin del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu both natives of Jalisco with a commitment to cocina en temporada _The seasonal garden. That would do Wolfgang Puck and Alice Walter proud.
